Indoor Living Is Best
Domestic bunnies are safest and healthiest when kept indoors, though some closely supervised outdoor playtime is fine. Years ago most people who had bunnies kept them in an outdoor hutch, but times have really changed. Bunnies are social creatures and being secluded in a hutch outside away from everyone for many hours of the day breeds boredom and they become lonely. Furthermore, bunnies that are kept outdoors have a significantly shorter lifespan and are more likely exposed to insects, inclement weather conditions and predators that can literally scare them to death.

Living together with an indoor bunny will reveal his or her unique personality and allow you much more quality time together. Since they are easily litterbox trained there's every reason to have them live indoors with you as part of the family.
