Notes: This poor, sweet boy was just rescued from a very bad situation in which he was rarely fed and was kept in the backyard in a truck trailer which got very hot during the day -- a potentially deadly scenario.  Apparently the family found the bunny, but their daughter didn't really want him so he wasn't given any attention or proper care. He has a piece missing off of his right ear; the family said it was like that when they found him. A kind woman who went to work for the family felt bad for the bunny so she would feed it, but was afraid that when she left her job there the bunny would die, so she contacted the Sweetpea Foundation and said 'Please help!'  This adorable little bunny has had a very rough start in life, but thanks to some concerned people he now has a second chance at a good life. Won't you please consider adopting this darling bunny and giving him a loving home?

Notes: Hope is approximately 6 yrs old. A shy bunny who is very low key and loving while she is being hugged. Hope was rescued from the animal shelter where she had been for many weeks. She will make a great companion for someone and or another bunny. Very sweet!

Notes: Recently rescued from the Carson shelter, Jasper is one of the most loving, sweet and well behaved long-haired baby boy bunnies ever! Barely 4 months old, he's like a happy little human baby and very personable. He just likes to sit in your lap forever - he will let you know - gently - when he needs to go #1, which is often as he drinks A LOT of water - over 20 ounces/day, which is more than he weighs!
 
Jasper is much more beautiful than his photo. Poor baby was dehydrated and malnourished when we got him, but he is growing more beautiful each day and his fur looks great. He is SO loving and easy to care for, he just needs 2 large water bottles right now, maybe forever. Jasper has to go to a wonderful, loving indoor-only home as he needs lots of attention and tender loving care. He is still too small to be neutered, but should be ready within a month or so.

Notes: These two adorable little bunnies were owner surrendered at the animal shelter-- so sad! Minky is a Silver Marten/Dwarf mix and Brownie is a Dwarf mix They love each other very much and are an inseparable pair of girl bunnies.  They love to play and groom each other and are super friendly and loving. No biting or growling with these two, just very sweet little bunnies who need to be adopted into a loving home where they would never be given up.

Notes: These darling little bunnies are so cute together! Bell is just about 3lbs. and Ranger weighs in at about 3.5lbs, so they are very small little bunnies but have big hearts. Both are very friendly, and Ranger will shower you with bunny kisses. They are immaculate with their litterbox! Won't you consider adopting this adorable couple into your home?

Notes: Shades is a smart and playful boy, rescued in the same recreation park as Princess, the pink-ear girl pictured with him. These bunnies just couldn't resist each other when they met in this urban park, where they were dumped. Now, they're mates for life looking for a forever loving home together. Notes: Slingshot is a very alert and active bunny who really loves his hugs and kisses. He is a curious bunny who will examine toys that you give him before he plays with them. Notes: Sugar and Spice are an adorable paired bunnies who are playful, love pet, cuddles and attention. They are very happy bunnies and love playing outside together. The deserve a loving home; won't you give them one?

Notes: Look at this darling boy! Sweet Charlie Brown is a neutered, 5-year-old sweetheart that is SO HAPPY in an indoor home and SO AMAZINGLY CUDDLY - he loves to be held for long periods of time and he will let you know if he needs to go to the bathroom when being held. He basks in your attention, while still being a very mild-mannered bunny. Charlie was terribly neglected when first rescued, it seemed as if his ears had never been cleaned in his entire life. As a safeguard, he was treated for ear mites, but in reality, it was just that his ears had never been cleaned. Poor boy! After his ears were cleaned, he was treated for a VERY, VERY MILD & BRIEF case of ear pasteurella which has now cleared up. His ear canals are thin and deep, so we can teach his new bunny parent how to clean and dry them properly so that Charlie never has ear problems ever again. Charlie is THRILLED to be able to hear again and sighs with contentment at being genuinely cared for and loved. 

He is good with his litterbox if you provide him with a large, rectangular one - apparently that is his preference! He is a very gentle fellow and is now used to being picked up as his former owner, seemingly, must have just kept him outside which is not ideal for a bunny's well being. Charlie has A LOT of love to give and it would be wonderful if he could live the rest of his life loved and well cared for in an indoor setting of a secure and stable home. You could even let play the Vince Guaraldi's piano "Linus and Lucy - Peanuts Theme Song" while he happily hops around! Won't you please give this wonderful bunny the forever home he deserves?

Notes: Shy, but friendly, little Teddy is being fostered and litter-box trained at this time. He was in a county animal shelter for several months. He really needs human love and attention. This photo doesn't even do him justice; he is much cuter. Very sweet boy.

Notes:  Just look at this triple dose of baby bunny cuteness! Three tiny babies, just a couple weeks old. They were rescued from the Carson shelter. All are super sweet, very well behaved and loving, like their sweet Mom and Dad. These darling babies are also litter-box trained already! They're still very young, so their gender has not yet been determined. They will be ready for adoption in the fall after 9/22/08. The Tiny Trio's FUTURE spay/neuter for each is already paid for when they mature and is already included in their adoption fee. Their future spay/neuter arrangements have been made so that they can be spayed/neutered at any LA County Animal Care & Control Shelter.

Notes: Look at this sweet girl -- and she truly is a valiant little bunny, thus her name. She had 7 babies at the shelter and was doing her best to nurse the starving little youngsters before she was rescued. She's shy at first until she gets to know and trust you, then is sweet as can be. She is bonded with 2 of her babies, Torb and Nosey, so the trio must be adopted together (group photo forthcoming!)
